In Mark 10:14, Jesus made clear to his disciples that children were very important to him. Children, too, are an important part of the family at Kalamazoo First Church. Here are a few of the children's programs offered at Kalamazoo First:

• God's Kidz Nursery
  Quality care is available in the rooms at the south end of the building, created especially for children up to age 2. Loving volunteers staff the nursery during all-church activities.
  
• R.A.Z. (Rally @ the Zone)
  This ministry for children through third grade is held in Room 102 every Sunday during morning worship. The worship service incorporates music, life lessons, character building, special characters (i.e. Molly Missions), doctrinal teaching, Scripture memorization and more. All is taught in a fun, creative and exciting way!
  
• Tiny Tails Zoo *
  This "zoo" is open every Wednesday evening from 7-8 PM. Children in grades 1-6 will meet a new animal friend each week, play fun games, and explore what God has to teach us from his amazing creatures.
  
• Junior Quizzing*
  This in-depth Bible study for children in 1st through 6th grade meets each Wednesday during the school year. The group will study the book of Exodus this year; participants are encouraged to attend three quiz meets held at area churches in Southwest Michigan.
  
• Children's Sunday School
  Following are the classes offered for children through fifth grade.
  
  Nursery, newborn to 2 years, with caring volunteers in Room 114 (crawlers' nursery), provide quality care and supervision to this young age during both the Sunday morning worship service and Sunday evening Bible Fellowship.
  
  2's, 3's with caring volunteers in Room 113, provide a simple Bible lesson, music and playtime for children during the morning worship service and more concentrated Bible lesson, crafts and playtime during the evening Bible Fellowship.
  
  4's, 5's with caring volunteers in Room 112, provide a simple Bible lesson, music and playtime for children during the morning worship service and more concentrated Bible lesson, crafts and playtime during the evening Bible Fellowship.
  
  Kindergaren - 2nd Graders meet in Room 107.
  
  3rd - 5th Graders meet in Room L102.
