Weekly Announcements

Feel Like Rebelling?
Daylight savings time begins Sunday, March 14, BUT don’t spring ahead too soon. In keeping with the tradition started last year, we will not advance our clocks ahead until after the potluck that will take place following morning service. Remember to rebel that Sunday!

The Local Outreach Committee
This group will meet on Sunday, March 14, at 5 pm.

Race For The Cure!
If you're interested in learning more about the race (location, times, registration info, etc.), please plan on attending an informational meeting on Thursday, March 18, at 7 pm in Room 102.  If you have any questions, please see Lori (McVay or Hernandez)!   You can also visit the team webpage.

Bethany Christian Services
Our church is considered Champions for Children coordinated with Bethany Christian Services.  The goal for this is to help educate the community on needs with Foster care children in our community.  They are looking for people who are interested in pray cards for children waiting to be adopted and/or Easter basket item donations for foster care children.  All items donated stay right here in Southwest Michigan and go directly to a foster child.  Our church has been a great support in the past with Christmas items and back to school supplies. If you are interested please contact Allison Shockley.

Missions Wednesdays

If you are a child (grades 1st through 5th), please plan on attending MISSIONS WEDNESDAY!!  You'll learn about missions programs
right here in the USA!  We'll meet downstairs in the KidsZone on Wednesday nights starting at 7 pm.  This program will last six weeks.
Please note there will be no class the week of Spring Break.  The class dates are as follows:  3/24, 3/31, 4/14, 4/21, 4/28 and 5/5.
PARENTS:  If you would like to assist, we could use helpers.  If you have any questions, please see Lori Hernandez.

Easter Egg Hunt
Easter is coming up soon which means it’s time to put on our annual Easter egg hunt, held Saturday, March 27, at 10 AM. This event is open to children age 2 through children in 4th grade. Please help us make this event a success by taking an empty bag of eggs and filling them with candy or small trinkets for the children. We are also in need of donations of candy or favors to use as prizes for games. If you would like to volunteer to help with this event please sign up at the children ministries table in the lobby or see Lindsay Zerber.

Holiness Summit
Climb Higher! We expend so much energy, time and resources through local church ministry and life in general. The climb gets steep, oxygen runs low, our climbing gear wears thin, and we need a bold, fresh boost of spiritual energy to climb higher.

On March 14-15, Nazarenes from all over the state of Michigan will be meeting at Saginaw Valley Church of the Nazarene for the first ever Holiness Summit. This two day event is FREE and pre-registration is not required. More information can be found at the local happenings board in the small hallway in the lobby. You will not want to miss this exciting and renewing event.
