Sunday School Opening on September 7!
Following morning worship, songs, Bible drills, “Please tell me a story,” “66 Club” and more will be held in the sanctuary. We will also celebrate birthday and anniversary dates from August and September, so have your birthday/anniversary offering ready!
Sunday School Opening will be held the first Sunday of each month before going to class.
Remember to pick up your puzzle from the Sunday School table (this includes children, teens and adults). Enjoy learning from God’s Word!
Nazarene Centennial
The Nazarene Church is turning 100 years old on October 5th! We will be celebrating our history and beginnings. Look out for more information coming your way.
Jackson Fund
Let’s help Pastor Doug and Paula as they prepare to fly to Ireland to meet their newest grandchild, Jackson McVay. If you would be willing to contribute financially, please place a check in the offering or place money in the tithe envelopes marked “Jackson Fund.”

Church Library Now Open in its New Location
The new library, found in Room 104 off the sanctuary foyer, will be open prior to the morning worship service, between worship and Sunday School, as well as following the Sunday School hour. The library will also be open prior to Sunday Night Live.
The library is independent from the church's budget. New and replacement books are obtained by using the Family Christian Stores Ministry Builders stamps, available when a purchase is made at their stores. The next time you shop at a Family Christian Store, please ask for these stamps and place them in the container located in the library. Questions? see Lois Smith or Marilyn Williams.
Recommended Reading
In light of the Church of the Nazarene Centennial Celebration, Pastor Doug’s sermons will focus this month on the Holy Spirit. If you would like to do some further study, the church library has some excellent resources, including Billy Graham’s book, The Holy Spirit, and Catherine Marshall’s book, The Helper. If you would like to check out these titles or others, come in and peruse the non-fiction section, Dewey Decimal #231.
